What the form needs to show
- How tics affect dressing, eating, bathing, schoolwork
- Extra supervision needs (crossing roads, around hot items, around younger siblings)
- Sleep disruption from tics
- Time and help needed for de-escalation, recovery, emotional support
- Impact of co-occurring /OCD/anxiety
- Safety issues from complex motor tics
What to include
- Letters from paediatrics or neurology
- School support records, , any reasonable adjustments
- A tic diary
- Examples comparing your child to peers the same age
Mobility
The mobility component is harder to claim for tics alone but can apply if:
- Complex motor tics make safe road awareness impossible
- Severe anxiety means the child cannot travel familiar routes safely

- Carer's Allowance (35+ hours/week)
